So I haven't been eating that clean lately. I went a little off kilter when I ate the oatmeal. Okay, so I ate oatmeal once or twice and lost 5 lbs. Then I ate sushi for lunch and got hypoglycemic and had to eat some old shriveled up plums at crossfit just to get through the workout. I had no energy yesterday for the workout and had to just power through 100 burpees. My knee is still giving me problems, got water on the knee from doing 108 box jumps, now it is really tight. It felt good for the burpees, but had to ice it when I got home. Had swelling behind the knee and lots of stiffness and pain. I did eat a taco bell burrito the other day, and I know I had at least 1 slice of garlic bread. I'm sure I blew it at other times. So is it the grains? the heat? did taking 5 days off help my knee but hinder my endurance? Was I dehydrated? I know I was eating carbs so that wasn't it. I need to pick a method and stick to it for 3 weeks to find out what works and what doesn't. I really want to lose more weight but I also want to decrease the inflammation and pain associated with being old, lol. I think low carb and crossfit isn't going to work for me. Maybe just eat really clean paleo and make sure I'm eating enough sweet potato's. My dilema is the milk products like cheese. Do I cut them entirely or can I have a small amount. Decisions decisions.

So I've been waking up very tired every morning and I have been having weird dreams. I've been taking the phentermine, maybe that is it though I have not had any issues going to sleep. I have been uncomfortable and waking up due to the heat and my sheets (I don't like them). I also have been having hip pain and knee pain. I have not been following my diet very closely, I wonder if that is it. My plan is to follow the diet even if it means going over my calorie goal and see if that helps. I am also going to add a sweet potato in daily. I went seriously low carb and bonked out after a couple of days. I was stressed to begin with and the basically no carbs did me in.

I also want to wake up early and do some mobility work along with some sprinting and pull ups and push ups. Also some hand stands and core work. Basically, my homework. So if I go to bed earlier then I can wake up earlier. Maybe take a magnesium malate at night for better sleep.

I really was gonna sign up for the tough mudder, but of course the boys have an away game that day. Don't know how I'm gonna wing that one. Bummer.

Been feeling blue, Piglett is not doing well and gonna pass away soon. She's one of the last of my Romoland pets that represents the good life I had before everyone started to die. RIP Bric, Brodie, Meeka. Miss you Larry and Dad. Gonna go get a tissue now.
