I am 22, almost 23 and have struggled with my weight for most of my relatively short life. At 16 I was over 200 pounds but after completing a 24 hour fast for charity my appetite decreased and within a few months of no dieting whatsoever I was down to about 150 pounds. Since 2001 I have never gotten back to my peak weight; however I have had very vast fluctuations. In 2003 I graduated high school at my lowest adult weight of 128 pounds but proceeded to gain back a fair chunk of that weight. I can eat whatever I want at the weight I am now (164 pounds) but I would rather be fit and in shape than eat whatever I want. I am not looking to be rail thin, but I am looking to feel better both physically and mentally than I do now. I have recently found it extremely difficult to find motivation and can start a diet 'tomorrow' or at the beginning of the day but by the time the evening hits I am chowing down on all those 'forbidden' foods. I need to change the way I am going or else it won't be long before I get back to over 200 pounds.

I am extremely interested in making my own life better and hearing about those who are trying to do the same for themselves! Best of luck to everyone in their weight loss journey!
