ok so the first day of the "diet" so to speak, didnt go well at all aha! i had a day off work so i saw friends, which involved gossiping and nibbling at bad food all day aha :P i did some serious damage to a tub of ben and jerrys!
Only did an hours real excercise - 60mins of a workout dance dvd, which i wasn't exactly 'talented' at aha! Oh well better luck tomorrow, since i'm a busy bee.
9am-2pm i have to work :( waitressing so thats 5 solid hours of walking around and making drinks - boring! but since im not entitled to a break, it means i can snack all day. After work im heading to town to meet a friend for some shopping, home for dinner and then im out partying at night - booze free due to those pesky calories! I'll keep you posted :D

Well um, hello there fatsecret.com! i've just randomly stumbled accross this site, and i've been thinking of late how chubby i've gotten this year, so starting tomorrow (since its 2am lol) i'll cut back, work out and keep people on this site posted. :] worth a try i suppose!
My current weight is roughly 168lbs (i think, i need to buy some scales, but i was 166 a few weeks ago and ive gained a little bit from what i see), so 12stone. I sound larger than i am, since i usually wear a UK size 12 in clothing which isnt 'fat' at all, its pretty average. However, i seriously want to be back down to last years size 10, at which point i weighted about 10stone 10 (i swear i'm naturally heavy! even when slim, dang it! aha oh well) so wish me luck! I'm going to aim to lose 1 or 2 lbs a week, so an average of 6lbs a month, so by new year if this works i should have lost 18lbs/ 1st 4lbs, therefore weighing somewhere in the region of 150lbs.
this site tells me to maintain my current weight, taking age heigh and activity into consideration, i may eat 2200 calories a day (15,400 a week). i also read online that to lose a pound u have to cut back on 3500 calories less than you NEED. so for example, to lose 1lb per week i take 3500 away from 15,400 to get my weekly calorie allowance and divide by 7. therefore my daily calorie allowance to lose 1lb in a week is 1700. I've set my daily target RDI on this site to 1400, so i should lose about 1.5lbs a week aslong as i cut back on fatty foods and keep up moderate excercise!
