Weight gain from medication - 19 lbs in 3 months!
I was put on an anticonvulsant called Depakene about 3 months ago. At the time of the doctor's visit when it was prescribed I was 144lbs - now I am at 163.4!!
My diet didn't change at all and the amount of exercise didn't either.
Is the cause an increase in appetite or change in metabolism?
