yay, more weights coming off, i havnt stayed off ALL carbs, just mainly bread . pasta, rice . sugar. I'm happy :)also my PORTION size, I make sure i measure before i put in my mouth

Gidday my fat secret friend's from down under :)
I have just come on to share I went to gym last night, I worked out extremely well. Running, rowing, weights. I go with my daughter, we have been going together for two years and before that I went since I was in my thirties. I have to say the low carb thing is new to me but I'm feeling better. I will not stop eating fruit or veges EVER, But I have cut out most of the high starchy ones, like potatoes, corn, bananas. My overall health has improved. I suffer from hayfever and that has gotten better to. I don't need to rely on the pills as much. I'm not even tempted to eat anything doughy now so that's really good as i used to love eating bread and I'd eat porridge in the morning (thinking I was doing myself a favour) WRONG lol. I'm trying to understand my body better and how it works best for me. GOOD THINGS TAKE TIME. Have a nice day all

i feel its working . the goal for me is not fast weight loss but permanant life style change, so i can handle staying on it, I dont miss bread, i dont miss heavy food, im happy with my results, i am feeling better and will continue to persue my goals :)

hi everyone
i hope everyone is having a good day or night! I am much better today, I am feeling more energy, I have upped my protein, and feeling better. I havnt had bread for two weeks, only had a tiny amount of pasta once, am really sticking to this, Ive found that im very thirsty. i have had watermelon and that helped alot to quench my thirst yesterday. I went for a good walk in the heat, as its about 30 celcius today, sweated heaps, and not hungry! thanks for your encouragment. I hope to weigh less soon, feeling better about everything today

hi everyone
i think i have carb flu; lol im feeling weak and lethargic.. i looked online and for two weeks you can feel like this till the body gets used to less carbs and more fat and protein, ive been going to the gym but it was to hot today and i sweat enough doing the lawn outside. I will stick with the low carbs, ive cut out bread altogether , no rice or potatoes, no pasta, ive had a couple of crackers today, thats all, not feeling guilty, just want my energy back, a cup of milo before bed as a treat, im so thirsty, it said on this website that would happen, very thirsty, i had a bit of watermelon today that was nice out of the fridge, the water from the tap doesnt taste very good im going to have to buy some bottled water i think
