I have stuggled with weight since I can remember it being a problem, about 8 years old. I am hispanic, so the food I grew up with was very rich in flavor, and volume! As a teenager my wieght also fluctuated and so began my affair with yo-yo dieting. I never really looked so overweight, as I am tall and have a large frame, specially having the latin curves. Still, I only felt healthy and confident in my lighter times. At the moment I am at the heaviest I have been in 3 years, 190lbs. I lost 30 lbs before my wedding in 2008 by doing weight watchers (on my own, no meetings) and was able to keep it off for a while. But like always, I gained it back. I work in an office setting where we find any reason to celebrate and have an office luncheon. Candy is a staple in our office, which I can't stop myself from having on a daily basis. I have joined this site, not only to lose the weight that keeps crawling back, but to hopefully make it staw away! Hopefully I have found the lifestyle change I have been looking for! Tips are welcomed!
