I need motivation for 2008, so I am participating in a contest at work.
I paid $100 and whoever loses the highest % wins.
I'd love the money, and it's what I'm using for motivation, but I'm also telling myself that this is about getting back on track!
I have been trying not to eat my extra weekly points, but I do think I need to eat my activity points, I seem to lose less when I don't!
School started again, and now I'm working full time, going to school 15 hours, and doing a few hours part time work each week as well! It's going to be busy, so I'm sorry I haven't been participating...hopefully this summer!

Well, I over did the holidays again! I did great at Thanksgiving, I even lost weight...now I have to carry that through to Christmas next year!
I had fun, and I didn't gain as much weight as I thought I had, so I'm not beating myself up over it.
However, I'm back on track now:
Good breakfast - check
Healthy snacks - check
Quick, easy lunch - check
I've even worked out today!

We had a customer luncheon at the Mansion, which is a VERY nice place here in Dallas, and I avoided the appetizers and wine, but I ate EVERYTHING they put in front of me once we were seated!
I expect it hasn't caught up to the scale yet! However, my goal for the holidays is just to maintain. I don't want to give up my favorite functions (and I can't afford to dine at the Mansion, so I lived it up!).
Tonight we are having our office Christmas party at III Forks, a great steakhouse, and I also plan to try to control my portions, but not worry about what I eat!
The holidays have been frantic!

I pigged out on my husband's trail mix on day 1 of the week.
I had no extra points left after that, so I had to be VERY good the rest of the week! Looks like that helped!
