I think I'm starting to feel the no carb brain fog lifting, which is a good thing. It's been 9 days since I've had any kind of bread, pasta or rice or any kind of major sugar. Hoping to weigh in on Friday and see some kind of result, but for now, just keep on pluggin' away!

Okay well officially one week on Low Carb. I think I'm doing okay. I didn't weigh myself a week ago, but went for my physical on Friday and was weighed then. Should I wait to weigh in on Friday or should I today? I'm hoping for a little progress on the scale. I've heard people say they've dropped alot of weight fast on Atkins and other say they haven't budged at all. I don't want to get discouraged. Not necessarily doing Atkins, just trying to really focus on eliminating sugar and carbs from my diet. One day at at time.

Okay fellow Atkins folks, wondering if you could check out my food diary and let me know if you think my daily carbs, etc are okay. Also, do I really need to worry about calories? Any info would be greatly appreciated! :)

Okay so I went for my physical for my job today. Stepped on the scale and gained 8 lbs since last July. Wasn't happy. I bought a battery for my scale so that I can now keep track. Wondering if I shouldn't weigh myself and just go by what my clothes are telling me. I was discouraged when I saw the number on the scale. I started Atkins on Monday, and didn't weigh myself. I just need to keep on plugging away and not look back. This is the heaviest I have ever been. My clothes don't feel any different, but it hasn't been a week. If there are any veteran Atkins dieters out there who could look at my food journal and let me know what they think of my intake, calories and carbs I would appreciate it. I need to know if I'm on the right track. My typical way of thinking when dieting would be to stay away from fats and everything would be fat free and low cal. It's hard to think that fats are "good".
