Days til photo shoot - 22
Woo feeling good this morning! Struggled to get up at first but went for a walk/jog along the waterfront it was so nice and now I feel great as I sit here sipping my skinny latte. Got to work late as had to tidy the house before the cleaning lady got there. Mum and dad are back today... YES! Now I can concentrate on my healthy eating and exercise routine.
Last night the girls came around for a bbq, was yummy. I made myself a seperate salad so I could measure how many calories, we had honey mustard chicken, herbed sweet potato and salad. Very Yummy and I felt satisfied. I measured myself a certain amount of mineral water, Nat thought this was a bit extreme but I am trying to be as precise as I can be. total calories for dinner 243.
Nat asked me to go to the pub for dinner tonight, I don't think I will go as can't control what goes into my meal there and I will end up drinking!
Back to the gym tonight! Excited to go back actually, might even recover in the spa and sauna after.
I still need help on a protein/meal replacement shake! I need a low carb/low fat one but they dont seem to be both!

Days until photoshoot - 23
Well yesterday went well, 1200 calories minus all my exercise... I went for a jog in the morning and a walk in the afternoon.
Ate very well;
Breakfast: Uncle tobys oats with honey and blueberries. (306 cal)
Morning Snack: Dairy Farmers Passionfruit yoghurt. (109 cal)
Lunch: Half bowl of tuna salad. (97 cal)
Afternoon Snack: Be Natural fruit and nut bar. (302 cal)
Dinner: Half bowl of tuna salad. (109 cal)
Glass of mineral water. (127 cal)
Evening Snack: 1 apple and 1/4 cup roasted almonds. (263 cal)
Water: 600mL
Fully need to increase the ammount of water I drink!
I'm thinking about getting myself a meal replacement shake like a fat metabolising one, but I don't want to bulk up and I'm really not sure what to get. Any suggestions?
This morning I could not bring myself to get up and go for a jog, so I gave it a miss.. So Tara and I are going to really push the rampart this arv even though it's blowing a gale and freezing!
Today I have been pretty good as far as eating goes, accept my skinny latte with 1 sugar at 2pm this arv... I was craving!

Morning Snack: Carrot Sticks with phillidelphia spread. (105 cal)
Lunch: A small piece of sirlion steak and small side salad (317 cal)
Afternoon Snack: Skinny Latte with one sugar. (86 cal)
Tonight Tara and Nat are coming round for a BBQ so I am a little worried about overeating but I'm only cooking healthy food so hopefully it won't be too bad!

Days until photoshoot - 24.
Yes I am now counting down the days until my photoshoot and I'm in a massive panic! I have gotten nowhere obviously! I need to drop atleast 3 kilos and tone my whole body it 24 days! HELP! This is impossible even if I do train 4 hours a day... What am I going to do? I don't want to cancel the shoot but how am I going to do this?
I have to cut my calorie intake, reduce the amount of carbs I have and only have them at breakfast, none for lunch or dinner. Instead of 3 meals per day have 6 snack size meals per day. So this morning I had my uncle toby’s oats made with lite white milk, blue berries and honey. It filled me up well. So no more carbs for the rest of the day but I’m finding there is carbs in everything!
Tara and I did the hill and then went for our jog yesterday, my legs were so tired and I died in our jog. Last night I just had salad for dinner. But from today I’m reducing my calorie intake and making sure I exercise twice a day! I went for a jog this morning did it quicker than usual which is good motivation. This afternoon Nat and I are doing a beach session .
Hopefully if I work really hard I will get there.

It is Friday already, very productive week at work, so busy but trying to keep on top of my eating habbits. It's when I get home and there's a block of cadbury dairy milk chocolate sitting in the fridge that has been my downfall. It's all gone now, I ate the rest last night. I figured out why I've been craving it, I got my period this morning, woke up with the worst pains. So no jog this morning. I have been so slack with updating this journal but my food and exercise diary for the week is as follows;
Monday 8th October 2007...
7am: Small cafe latte with one sugar from Michel's that I picked up the way to work as I had no time for Breakfast.
10am: half a bowl of tuna and salad with dressing and 300mL of orange huice.
200mL water inbetween meals.
1pm: half a bowl of tune and salad with dressing and 200mL water.
4pm: a banana and half a cup of tea with milk and half a sugar.
Rampart walk with Tara, struggled as legs we tight from kickboxing the night before.
7pm:Baked dinner, I know I shouldn't have had it but mum cooked it and it was so yummy.

Tuesday 9th October 2007...
8:30am: Small cafe latte with one sugar from Michel's because I was starvin without breakfast.
11:30am: Passionfruit yoghurt and some roasted almonds.
1pm: Bowl od tuna and salad.
400mL water
3:30pm: low fat banana muffin and some roasted almonds.
Rampart walk with Tara bit better today, did it with ipods so went quicker.
6pm: lowfat choc chip muffin.
8:30pm: Went out to indian for dinner for dad's birthday so had to eat the fatty indian dishes against my will so I limited my rice and put lime in my water to speed up the metabolism. Then I had a magnum almond mini and 6 pieces of chocolate.

Wednesday 10th October 2007...
Got up and went for a walk/jog on The Esplanade with Tara, almost died it was so hot and I'm so unfit but I don't plan on being unfit and fat for long! So it felt good to finish it.
7:30am: I actually had time for breakfast for once so I had a small bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes with lite white milk.
10am: Carrot sticks with some phillidelphia spread.
11am: low fat banana muffin.
400mL water
1pm: Bowl of tuna and salad and can of coke (very naughty but craved it bad as Patrick had one)
4pm: Lowfat Strawberry Yoghurt.
6:30pm: Again mum had cooked chicken and vegies for me so I ate it but didn't eat all of my potato trying to be good. 10 pieces of chocolate and a boysenberry drumstick.

Thursday 11th October 2007...
6am: Jog/walk on The Esplanade with Tara, jogged a little further this time, which inspired me even more to get back to the gym (just need to pay my fees).
7am: Bowl of oats made with lite white milk, a drizzle of honey, a banana and a glass of orange juice.
10am: Handful of roasted almonds and a passionfruit yoghurt.
400mL water.
1pm: wholemeal pasta with eggplant sauce and salad with salad dressing.
400mL water
3:30pm: Low fat banana muffin.
6:30pm: Chicken cashew nuts thai dish as I didn't feel like cooking but I only ate half and didn't have any rice. Then ate some chocolate and went to bed think I was asleep by 8:30pm, very tired.


Yeah so that's it for the week so far, I'm good during the day it's just when I get home that I have to work on. I couldn't go for a jog this morning due to my period pain so I think I will go this afternoon. Tonight Craig and I are staying in and making home made pizza's, I am having vegetarian healthy one.

Must remember to weigh myself tomorrow as I keep forgetting!

Back to work, lots to do... hopefully will journal more frequently from now on.
