Well, I'm back to my weight that I was at 2 weeks ago which is great! I did take a look at my carbs and noted that I was eating too much. This past week, I've remove some of the carbs like the whole wheat dinner roll that I using have for my sandwich. Yesterday we went out for lunch at work for Thai and the waitress forgot to bring the rice which was great because I didn't need it!

I came down with a cold on Wednesday afternoon. But I still did a workout Wed. evening. So my muscles are sore and I don't know if it is from the workout or the cold! Anyway, taking it easy for a few days.

This weekend is going to be busy. My son has 2 birthday parties tomorrow to go to, so I will be tagging along but I have no plans to eat any cake. It's not my birthday.

I refuse to weigh in today! I'm just tired of the gaining and feeling hungry all the time. I thought that signing up for this 10 k would help me drop the weight but that is not happening.
Work is very stressful. Not getting out for lunchtime runs. I keep saying that I'll go home and run on the treadmill or do some kind of workout but I get home and I'm hungry so I eat. And then I clean up and then I sit on the couch and I very will know that I could stretch or do something but I don't want to. I tell myself that it's getting close to 8 o'clock and time to get my son ready for bed. And then I think soon it will be spring and I get outside and I'll be more active. I thinking of 'soon, soon', instead of 'just do it now'!!
I use to do a lot of work helping my parents with the farm but that is all different this year. There are only 11 cows and not much to do. I miss the physical workouts that I used to get like moving hay and straw. SIGH!!!

Any motivation tips?

Back after a long weekend! It was a great weekend too. Did a little too much eating as my DH made a great dinner Sat night for Valentines Day (steak, roasted potatoes, garlic butter mushrooms, Caesar salad and we split a bottle of red wine) and then on Sunday we celebrated my son's birthday with my family, so there was a big dinner (ham, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, parsnips and cauliflower plus cake!).

On Monday which was a holiday (family day), I went over to my friend's house and we went for a run. It was lightly snowing, so a little slippery. We did about 9.6 km and around the 5.5km mark I fell but we kept going. When we got back, I had a look at my knee and it was not to good. A big scrap and bruising. It feels ok today though. But we are proud of ourselves for doing this distance as we have signed up for a 10 k race the first weekend of April. So, we know we can do it!

This morning I weighed myself for reality check. I'm up 3 lbs from Friday's weigh in. I need to get back to the routine and watch the portion sizes! Plus I need to do some strength training/core exercises.

It's snowing here today, so no run at lunchtime. But I plan to do a short run on the treadmill tonight and some stretching.
