Ok running buddies! Hopefully, someone can help me out with this. So I had the flu the end of February. I was down for roughly 2 weeks. When I started running again, part way through a run I would start to feel sick to my stomach. It's now been 2 weeks with running about 3 days a week doing 3.5k each time. And this sick to my stomach feeling is not going away. I'm scheduled to do a long run on Friday as I need to get back on track for race day which is April 3. I talked to my doctor who thinks its a strained muscle but I don't think so as I've done a Jillian Michaels workout a few times too and I don't get the sick to my stomach feeling. Any thoughts??

Up a bit but not bad as I did have lots of food this week celebrating the ole birthday!!
Very stressed today!!! My coworker who has been off for the last 2 days is in today. I told my work load is through the roof and hoped she could handle a few things as the boss was off and dump some stuff on me. And I get that her projects are more important. Soooo upset!
Hoping to get out still for a run to burn off steam. Weather is cooler today. There's always the treadmill too at home for later.
Not much going on this weekend. Driving for my dad tomorrow to get carrots for his cows. On Sunday after church my son has a birthday party to go to.
Anyway, take care Buddies!

B-day today!! Mind you, I've celebrating it since last Friday. And yes my weight is up but your birthday is only once a year so need to celebrate it! My son got me a John Deere lunch bag that I can take my lunch to work in. He was very proud to give it to me this morning and I packed my lunch of salad, cottage cheese and pineapple in it. He also give me a coloured picture of a Case IH tractor! Gotta love this age!! He is so much fun!
Boo! it's raining now, so no run today. Maybe later at home I can do something.

Wow, what a drop but it's probably because of the flu. Finally feeling better and not soooo tired!
So begins the birthday celebrations. My birthday is next Wednesday. But I found out from my 6 year old son last night that DH has plans for something tonight. And then we are going out tomorrow night with my sister. Sunday is family celebrations at the farm with my parents. Tuesday we are going out for lunch at work. And then Wednesday is the official day. So I'm thinking my weight next Friday will be up!
This past Wednesday we went and looked at a small hobby farm for sale. The price is too high. The house is nice but we would need to make some changes. We didn't look at the barn. There is 10 acres. I would prefer 50 acres. But this would be a good location for us. It would put us closer to my parents and my son would still be able to go to his school and the drive to work for me and my DH won't be much different. So, even if we could get at a lower price I'm torn as if it is the right move. Something to keep thinking about and praying.
Anyway, enjoy the weekend buddies!

Still feeling really tired from this flu! Supper the last 3 nights has been a slice of toast with peanut butter and jam. My parents are sick as well. My dad has pneumonia and my mom has the flu. Not good but they still keep going.
I am hoping to get out today and do a short run. It's windy here, so we'll see how if goes. I can always just walk too! The weather is warming up and the snow should be gone today. Spring is here!
