Every month I record my body measurements. The best way for me to determine how well I'm progressing I think it's best to track both weight and body measurements. I'm pleased. BTW, all my jeans are 30" waist; that just shows how much they lie to get customers. Keep at it guys. It might be challenging but it's not rocket science. I know. I fall, get up, fall, get up, fall, get up, but am always inching forward. Does the repetitive falling and getting up count as exercise? Asking for a friend. :)
3/2/22 Body change at the end of February—current weight 161 lbs: Chest = +½”, Waist +-0”, Belly –¼”, Thigh +1/8”, Biceps +½” , Forearm +½” , Neck +-0, Weight -3 pounds.

Sadly things are much tougher going than I suspected. I have both a weight goal, and weight lifting goals and both seem to cancel each other out. For me it creats a head-game. I have a goal at 155 lbs, but it seems ever elusive, yet I'm slowly making personal gains in regards to weight lifting. :(

I didn't make bad food choices, just grazed a tad more than I should have. But hey, on a positive note I made a 1 rep gain in my bench press.

I generally do tree work on Fridays. When I do my WO routine is shelved, can't do both (ask me why). The wind this morning made the tree option too dangerous, so I opted to WO. I managed two personal best during my pull-up routine. I do a 10 set weighted pull-up routine, alternating between 4 reps with 40lb, followed with 3 reps with 50lb. I rest 1 min between sets. I do this until I complete 10 sets. Afterwards I rest 3 minutes and go for a personal best with a 40lb weight. Today I managed 18 reps for a personal best. Afterwards I weight 5 min and go for a non-weighted best--today that was 38 reps. Not to shabby for someone who just turned 61 this month.
BTW, Yesterday I had a 2 hour meeting with the oncologist, urologist, and radiologist, all were in agreement in light of the data, age, current health, and severity of cancer that surgery is best option for me. Neil (friend who just finished radiation, seed implants, and hormone therapy) accompanied me during the consult. I wanted a perspective of someone who is going through this. We walked in thinking radiation, but after listing to the medical team we both walked out thinking surgery is the best option. My PSA elevated another 1.5 points in less than two months. It is what it is.

I had a hard four days of working out, and two hard days felling, moving and bucking logs. On my two non-workout days I burned 4352 & 3738 calories respectively.
