Ok…so i blew it yesterday..no biggie just move on. My entire family was over bringing all the usual crap and more. Candy, Pie, Brownies, Ice Cream, etc. Since I do my own shopping I never even have this around. So, of course, I broke down and ate a ton of crap ( at least a ton for me I used to eat this stuff all the time ). I felt it right away and felt sick since I am used to eating 1,500 Calories a day and 15 grams of carbs. So……time to flush it….in more ways than one and move forward.
Yesterday is done..I can't go back. on the good side I have found eating a lot one day tends to be good since the body thinks you are not starving. A cheat day is possible on many weight loss plans but I just don't feel good when I do it.

So it has been about a month since I started this. I actually weighed 305 or perhaps a bit more, I really didn't get on the scale the day I started. I might have been 310 which is my highest weight ever. I know I dropped 30 lbs in a month which is amazing. Of course, I had lots to lose which helped. I followed the low carb plan and very seldom ate more than 20 carbs. I often ate 10 which might be too low but it works and I feel fine. If it start to feel strange I do eat something with carbs in it….like a bit of rice. If I crave I drink a ton of water, eat a tablespoon of peanut butter and some hot peppers. It always works. I don't expect this rapid weight lose to continue but I do expect to lose 15 lbs a month. All this has been done without working out…..and I am starting to swim and do cardio next week, which will help. I won't stop until I weigh 189 which is what I weighed in high school.
Here is how I am doing it:
1. Eat 1,500 calories a day
2. Eat 20 Carbs or less a day
3. Never eat after 6:00 P.M.
4. Go to the store DAILY to get EXACTLY what I am eating for the day. I plan the menu BEFORE my day begins which is the biggest key for me.
5. If I get hungry ( which is seldom ) I drink water, coffee, or diet coke and the urge passes.
6. I am 100% committed , not 99%
I am NOT suggesting to anyone they follow this method. Everyone has to figure out what works for them and why. I do know the whole key is the mind and the discipline to keep your focus. IF you screw up just get right back on it the next day.
