So the break this weekend did bump me up a bit. This just means I have to buckle down this week. I have been cooking with shellfish a lot this week and loving it. I have to say I love scallops and they are so easy to prepare. I am going to add two recipes that I have used to the board. I am also becoming addicted to Jello snack packs.

Okay, the diet has been going pretty well. Plus, I love running around a local pond. I did fall off the wagon during my birthday - Mexican food, birthday cake, and a few drinks but I hope that won't affect my next weigh too badly. I will be seeing my doctor tomorrow. Last time I talked to him he was worried about diabetes, but wanted to see what I could do on my own. I hope the diet will make a difference in preventing this problem.

I have been pretty strict but was not expecting this already. I have to say that I have been really hungry, but it seems worth it when you finally weigh in.
Snack
Homemade Hummus and grape tomatoes
Dinner last night
turkey burger
grilled broccoli
Sugar-free jello
Breakfast
two quiche cups
Snack
Lowfat string cheese
Lunch
turkey slices
grilled broccoli and zucchini
Man has anyone found a good tomato drink? This is the one part of the diet I might not be able to stomach.

losing 10.5 lb a week

Okay so I prepped a bunch of stuff for the diet. I made quiche cups which are actually pretty cool and bought a bunch of cheese sticks, sugarless salad dressings, and veggies. I am going to miss butter but happy that olive oil is still okay.
I also went running yesterday. Today I am a little sore but it definitely was not as bad I as I thought. I think I was trying to make up for the fact that I had wine and pizza for my good bye meal. I am looking forward to the challenge, but this will be the first time I have ever really followed a diet.
Breakfast
Two Quiches Cups
Handful of Grape Tomatoes
Snack
Lowfat Cheese Stick
Lunch
Cucumber and Tomato Salad
Turket Breast
