Planned on working out last night. Since I did abs on Monday I was going to focus on legs and arms. Unfortunately the weather had another plan in mind, called being a lazy ass waiting out pouring ass rain and hail. I wanted to do pilates inside since my workout stuff is in the garage, but my mats were with my workout stuff in the garage as well.
I don't think I would have been able to exercise anyway, since the weather was frightening. A tornado even touched down in Marrero and swept through the westbank. I guess we got lucky since it dissipated before making it to Algiers.
Because I couldn't work out, I made sure to keep my eating light and I have officially lost a pound now. I would like to keep up the momentum and will definitely work out tonight!

I am going to try my best to stick with working out and eating right. When Pat is home, it is really hard to stick with eating right since he pulls out chips at 10 pm. Last night I managed to control my late night snacking to a degree, but still munched a bit.
I am hoping that once I am back to my routine of derby 2 times a week minimum, that everything else will fall into place and I will shed the fat in my stomach and thighs.
I am just going to continue to bring my lunch daily, exercise every night and go to as many derby practices as possible. Hopefully, that will be the way to get me back into shape.
