it's almost two in the morning & i can't sleep :/ i slept from three in the morning yesterday to 2pm.... i thought exercise was supposed to help with sleep!?
anyways, weigh in later. i found a $25 visa gift card so i'm going to buy some veggies, tofu, etc. & stop eating eggs! high cholesterol runs in my family, & eggs may have protein & b-vitamins, but they also have saturated fat & dietary cholesterol, which worries me. :( darn them for being so yummy though... & then i'm going to see Vampires Suck with a friend, so i need to get my exercise in early today!
speaking of, i did my first workout on the strength machines today! (idk what they're actually called, they're machines with weights that target specific muscle groups lol) it took a lot longer than it should have, but it was my first time. & my gym has a smoothie bar that i've been meaning to try, & i finally got the chance today! i got a 20oz Pineapple Cobana, a mix of pineapple, coconut milk, & i think banana, with a scoop of soy protein. delicious! i can't get these every time because they're expensive, & because often i've already used up too many calories to splurge on one, even if it IS healthy.
anywho, enough of me running my mouth(fingers?!). i'm going to go read until i fall asleep. more later after my workout/weigh in!

So, tomorrow i'm going to start doing strength exercises along with my daily cardio. should i do it every other day? idk what to dooooo!
at any rate, being vegan has left me very lethargic, so i'm going to eat eggs for now. until i can afford all the b-vitamins i need, or convince my parents to actually buy me fruits & vegetables, i'm going to eat eggs. no, not products with eggs in them. just eggs. either poached(which i made tonight & had on whole wheat toast with vegan mayo, very good) or scrambled(just whites) with cooking spray. from what i read, those are the two healthiest ways to eat them. any other ways that are healthy?

have you ever had a day that let you know that it's going to be one of THOSE weeks? yeah, i'm pretty sure last night was the start of one of those weeks.
couldn't get to the gym today, it's raining too hard to see in front of you on the road.
boyfriend blows up at his aunt(he never blows up at anyone; hell, he doesn't even raise his voice when someone asks him to speak up), now i know he's upset about something but i can't talk to him or see him.
not much healthy food to eat... have to rely on dad's shoddy grocery shopping, where half the things i ask for he won't get.
ugh. lord help me.

So, it's midnight here, but this is my journal entry for sunday. i didn't get to the gym, & i figure 6 days a week isn't a bad number to shoot for. but when i came home from my boyfriend's house, i found that most of the healthy foods(see: veggies, whole wheat, fruits, things NOT fried in butter or lard) i had bought less than a week ago were gone! my mom threw them away to make room for her garbage! so now i'm hungry & in a bad mood, especially since my mom just wasted my money as well as anything nutritional in this f&^$ing house. seriously, all i have left to eat is cereal, & a head of wilted iceburg lettuce.
i am so upset.
