Well, my son wanted to bake a cake, so we fired up his Easy Bake oven. I find it amazing just how satisfying one tiny Easy Bake cake actually is. Similarly, three tiny cookies (that fit into the same Easy Bake cake pan) can quench my desire for cookies.
My overeating really does come down to the old "clean plate club" too often, though I don't recall my mom ever pushing me in that direction. I guess it doesn't have to be in your face to be a push in that direction.

I have decided that regardless of what I eat, no matter how bad, the minimum I can do is put it here. That way I can both see where I go wrong and be accountable for what I ate. After all, I can't hide it from the scale, so why hide it from anyone else?
Today I ran some errands, including stopping for some fast food I'd been very interested in for a while, on my way to my mother's house where I was making some vegetable soups for lunch. Dinner will also be a bit high in fat, as it'll be hamburger based, but that's what we've got. Oh well. I'll try to be as good as possible, but some days you just can't win.

It's actually pretty amazing to me that I didn't gain. I did VERY poorly pretty much all week long. Still, I'm going to try to do better.

Dinners are my downfall. My husband is a bit heavier than I am. He, however, seems to have no intention to try to eat healthy. So, come dinner time when we're eating as a family, I find it next to impossible to "eat right" while he's eating all this wonderful, delicious, FATTENING food.
Grr!
