Well, It's Sunday morning and I should wait until tomorrow morning to weigh myself, but I just had to know if I was still losing weight or not. I always seem to be a slow looser, however I lose and that's what counts I guess. :) I need to exercise, but have no time to pull myself away from this desk! AAAH! It's tax time and I'm swamped with work! Hopefully soon, I can get on some kind of schedule so I can walk or something. Today is such a beautiful day! I finally got to open a few windows! We don't get that privilage too often as I live in Florida and it's usually too muggy and hot. My Saint Bernard is loving this cooler weather!

well, so far I've lost 10.2 pounds. I weighed in on Tuesday but had just registered my weight on Monday here... so I will wait and post it next Tuesday to make it a week on line. I work with a bunch of women and we are are all doing our own thing to loose weight. One is working out and not dieting, one is on WW, and I'm on Atkins. so it's fun to see who lost and who did not from week to week. One is counting carbs one is points and the other just goes on about lifting weights and how she's turning into muscle instead of weight! It's so fun sometimes! so far, I'm in the lead at work, but we all root for each other. I have the battle of having to prove all the time that my diet is good for me and not bad. OH... I get so tired of the argument! But I grin and say, "Do what is best for you and be happy!" "I will do what is best for me.. and that is Atkins." :) I love this diet. yes... I'm a carb attic.... very much so.. but I'm striving to do this and do it well. Not eating it, is better for me than portion control... I just can't eat a tiny piece of cake and be satisfied! LOL I want the WHOLE THING! hahaha... so this diet works so well for me. Anyway, I'm rambling... We had a wonderful dinner tonight! I did the Herb-Marinated Chicken recipe from the South Beach diet book and WW Oriental green Beans! Both very low in carbs! It was sooo good! Now I just have to find about 10 more favorite recipes for my family so we aren't eating the same things. I love to make menues and post them on the fridge. It keeps me in line with what I'm doing and the boys don't constantly ask what we are having for dinner! LOL. Well, I'm going to stop rambling now! I love this website. this is great to be able to journal my feelings and share with other people!

I actually started the Atkins diet on January 2, 2007. I started out at 217 pounds. I am starting my fourth week on the Atkins plan and I feel great. Looking for good recipes to feed my family and it's a lot of hard work. My boys Michael and Brett are on it and doing well too. We are all about at the 10 pound mark! Woo Hoo! Got a long way to go but am working hard at it!
