Needing Support
I think hoser has said it all. You need to be honest with yourself with what you are actually eating, record it meticulously and see what your problems with your eating habits are. I would suggest to note your emotions when you are eating as well in case there is a pattern, so you can tackle what makes you eat in excess. Unfortunately there is no miracle solution: eat the right food in the right amounts, exercise and time. Losing weight is a long journey, and there are no short cuts: even with gastric surgery, you will need to follow a strict diet until you reach your goal weight and then go on a health lifestyle thereafter (which you would do anyway, but without the risks of surgery!!), so consider surgery only as your very last chance, because it doesn't make it easier.
