This is getting more and more difficult. Between being at work during the day and in classes at night...it is not easy to eat right.

losing 1.6 lb a week

Okay, I broke down (not that it was hard) and ordered Chinese food for breakfast/lunch. Sesame scallops are sensational! Almost a thousand calories...
Well spent! :)

Wow, this can get really frustrating. Its been very eye opening to see the real nutritional value of everything I eat. I haven't gone too far over my set calories...but I could. I want to. I never really ate much fast food before all of this, so how come now I want to stop at every drive-thru I go by?!
My boss asked me if she could buy me lunch at a really good greasy chicken joint today. The fries are phenomenal.
It took everything I had to say no and just heat up my Healty Choice Mixer.

Well...I have recently discovered (not that I didn't already have a good idea) that I have gained 76 pounds in exactly 1 year. Now, I very rarely eat anywhere that has a drive-thru window and I cook dinner more often than not, so I went to see a doctor thinking that maybe there was some other force at work here. Other than my own mouth, I mean.
It turns out that I have hypothyroidism. My doctor gave me a pill to take everyday but she also highly recommended that I get online and view my daily calorie intake. I must admit...I don't think that the hypothyroidism is the
only
thing adding pounds to me. So I guess I am hoping that by watching my calories and what I eat, I will be able to speed up the process of getting my old body back.
I'm hoping to get married next April or May (yes, there is a man involved) and I would love to feel beautiful and confident again. My boyfriend views me as the most beautiful woman alive and I want to feel the way he sees me. :) So here's to cutting out Cold Stone ice cream and getting on a real diet! (For real this time!)
