Not following DASH any longer, have switched to mostly vegan/vegetarian to lower cholesterol and sugar. Blood pressure better after cutting way back on salt. Now working on lowering metabolic numbers that are too high.

After quitting smoking just over three years ago, have gained 30+ pounds and would like to get back to where I was previously. Doctor has suggested DASH diet for high blood pressure, which is new thing. Feel generally ok, but not happy at this weight.
