the scale doesn't lie. my delicious weekend caught up with me. i need to step it up this week! so glad to be starting a challenge today.

ughhh i just went to a child's birthday party and ate terrible food.

i ate late last night and i ate a lot. it looked like i had almost a half lb burger (no bun) and i had veggies on the side. somehow by magic i managed to drop down a pound and a half. i am so thankful. must have been the absence of carbs.
also had
quinoa
for the first time. supposed to be super good for you with lots of protein. i'll be on the hunt for lots of yummy recipes that include it.
