NO SUGAR...I can't believe it. I've actually stated to realize that I don't need sweet food. I moved from coffee with 2 sugars, to sweetener, to Stevia, and now I just put in a little vanila or cinamon. I love that I'm breaking my dependance on sugar.

Today I walked into a La Senza store and bought 5 pair of panties FROM THE DRAWERS and they all fit with no bunching or digging into my hips. First time in about 10 years I could walk into the store and open a drawer and select what I wanted from the SALES RACK.
Wow - it felt so wonderful to put them on and feel comfortable. It feels wonderful to reach a goal.
I can remember when I fit into a size 14 pant, only a few months ago. I could once again shop 'off the rack' in any women's store. I didn't need to look for the Plus Size section. It's been a long 18 months getting here, but I am and I hope to finish my journey in another 6 months.
Right now I'm not really doing atkins because the detox is going to mess things up. So I'm just counting calories and watching to keep my carbs around 150- ... Its working as I've lost 4lb of that weight gain this week. Not surprising as it was probably a lot of water weight. At this rate I'll be back down within a week or 10 days. IF I remain faithful.

I have a new goal - I am not watching my weight as much as I was. Now I'm watching my clothing size. I want to be a size 9 by after Christmas. Problem is that I live a sedetary lifestyle and I'm at the stage where I need to 'tighten up'. This means exercise which isn't really part of my winter routine.
I still want to get to 130, but I know that tightening up is going to add muscle so it may also increase my weight. This year I haven't lost much weight but I've dropped from a size 14 ish to a size 9/12 depending on the clothing I'm wearing.
The jeans I wore with pride in September are now looser (weird - look at my weight calendar as I'm about 10lb heavier than in September).
In fact, I can see another shopping trip in January/February. I can't believe the joy I felt when buying these jeans and seeing how great they look. It is so wonderful being back into 'good' clothing!
What is going to get me working out? I envision myself wearing large...or even medium...lingerie. Not only that - being small enough to take advantage of the post Christmas and January sales!

It is hard to record my weight. I know it is just 'that time' and that I'll lose at least 5 - 10lb in a week. I also expect to lose weight due to this detox. So I really expect to get back to 140-144 within a couple weeks. I gained weight too fast for it 'not' to be water weight.
I've started drinking white tea. I've also started drinking more milk. I've also had bread a bit. My carb intake is still well below the OWL level. But I might have added a food back into my diet that I'm intolerant of.
I am cutting out the Latte. I might make a 'diet' version at home using decaf coffee instead of esspresso. I LOVE Latte.
My only problem is that I gained the weight right before Christmas. If I don't lose it then I have to be extra careful over the holiday.
