Haven’t used the app in a long long time and quit exercising. 50 pounds gained in about a year. Time to get started!

I chalk this up mostly to muscle gain. I have been running about 25 miles a week for the past few weeks (spread out over multiple days) to train for a 10K in April. I've also joined a gym where I use the weight machines 5 days a week (and do my runs). My clothes aren't fitting any differently and even though my BMI says I am overweight I still wear a size 5/6 in pants and S/M in shirts, so I'm not worried much. And my Fitbit says I'm burning way more calories than I'm taking in, so it's definitely muscle gain. At the health and wellness screening it said I had more muscle than fat and that my waist was smaller than my hips, so I was considered healthy. I will probably do another screening in a couple of months just to check my progress.

I'm about one day away from TOM, so water retention and bloating. Also, the holidays have been hard on me. And my husband and I have been eating out multiple times a week. This is very frustrating considering how good I was doing just 2 months ago. I'm going to start running again even though it's cold because I've put on all this weight starting in late October when I thought it was too cold to run. And I lost my job. I know this sounds like a lot of excuses. But really it's to put things in perspective for myself, so I can look back, see the mistakes I've made and do something about them. I'm not waiting for January. I'm re-committing today.
