I think the most valuable thing I have learned from this website is how to get myself moving more often...placing the Enter food/Exercise menu item in that way made me learn to look at how much movement was needed to make eating the food worthwhile...When I first went to enter exercise and saw that they had arbitrarily given me so many calories expended just for relaxing for 15 hours, it really put into perspective how often I was not really being active.....
As a result I have really started to add activities on the list to my daily routine...in the morning, I have actually gotten into our pool that I have stared at for 25 years...I love it...Every morning, I do a slow swim back and forth in our small pool for at least an hour...at least 3-4 times a week sometime during the day after noon I expend at least 200 calories on the treadmill and frequently up to 600 calories before I leave...It only takes 4o minutes to burn up 400 calories on the treadclimber...All I know is that since I have started documenting both calories and activity I have begun to see some REAL results...

I've been on JC since January and started my weight loss at 154 lbs..The progress has been very slow and it has seemed that if I strayed at all, like enjoying a piece of cake, it would stall any progress that week. So I am looking to have more and better guidelines and perameters to help me get these last few pounds off and keep them off...My weight as of this day is 136 lbs exactly...
