I was a Center Director for LAWL
Thank you for your warning. I and I am sure many others are aware that this is a money making business. I have been through many money making diets in the past. Sometimes though the fact that you are paying for it helps some people to stick to the plan. My plan is to only stay for as long as my weeks run out and leave. I only buy the la lites because I actually like the taste (caramel and peanut butter). Less calories than a chocolate bar and gives me my chocolate fix. If I don't reach my weight goal by then, oh well, they are not getting any more money. By then I should have learned how to incorporate the food plan into my life. On another note, this site is a free support to everyone and although I would not be a paying LAWL member I will still use this site. Thank you however for your advise, and I understand your intent. There are a lot of people out there who really will do anything, spend any amount to lose weight and would ignore all the signs of a scam to lose weight. The company on the other hand will definitely take advantage of that.

Losing motivation since switch!
Same thing here. I really hate this new plan. I have been stuck ever since they switched it. Today they said they will contact the dietitian if nothing changes. I am going on my vacation next week and wanted to go down to at least 155 by Sunday, I doubt this will happen. I have been following the plan 100%. Today my weigh in was up. I feel like quiting, but I will try and hang in there. I know part of the reason was because I use to exercise before and now that I have moved to a new city and funds is tight I did not join a gym here. I am ok with being under 160 though, but 150 would have given me more confidence. Saturday I will record my weigh in, not today, I don't like the see the arrow pointing in the up direction, it depresses me.

New Program
Did anyone noticed that they also removed a lot of restaurants from the list. At first I figured that since the plan is now based on the country you are in rather than international as it said on the previous book I had, they perhaps removed restaurants that did not apply to your country. But after reading it again I realize that they took out many restaurants that are in fact also in Canada. For example the new menu plan (Canada) does not include KFC, Earls, Boston Pizza, Dominos etc. Not that we really should be eating out too often, but just for those days you want to go out and have some choice. A chicken breast from KFC once in a while was a nice treat without feeling like I am cheating because it was equaled to 1 protein (w/o skin and breading).

Motivation
Yes I go there once in a while. They seem to have more in depth stuff about LAWL. Especially about the new plan. I just read the info, I did not join as I think I get a lot of support on fatsecret.

splenda
I use splenda all the time instead of regular sugar. Hey Ali52373 I too have read the book Skinny Bitch, makes you not want to eat anything.
