Hi all, am nearing my goal weight and really happy with my progress overall. I can be quite driven and single minded so need to just make sure I am enjoying the process of weight change and not making self care yet another burdensome task I have to complete. I am having a week off the gym in the lead up to xmas to allow my body to restore itself from all the intense exercise I have been doing and want to go back to the gym the day after xmas with a more compassionate, self supportive approach of enjoying the weight training and cardio in a way that nourishes me and not depletes me. I can still push myself and have intensity but I don't have to be a robot.
