Giving up a favorite food
I have a thing for soda too... :[ I just love the stuff, but I know if I stopped drinking it altogether I'd lose so much more weight..

Wondering about planet fitness??
fantome: Yeah yours sounds pretty well managed.. ours is still new and it isn't, lol. It got the nickname Planet Fatness for a reason here! The 8 pound weights comment is true unfortunately, as well as some weightlifting moves being against the rules for some reason. lol, grunting is VERY common in gyms from what I've seen.. I don't know why it's a problem, I kinda like it.. makes it sound like a gym LOL.

Wondering about planet fitness??
It seems like a good starting gym to me maybe, but let me just say that if you want to lift weights, it sucks. The Planet Fitness where I live has a certain reputation lol.. Some of my friends who go to the gym call it Planet Fatness because it clearly caters to people who do alot of cardio and very little weight training which is very important to fitness. There's no weights over 8 pounds, LOL! And there's a weird alarm that sounds when someone vibrates the floor too much [actually works out].. They also have some very strange practices such as selling candy, sodas, and serving pizza and donuts every month lol! Nice equipment and cute colors though :] It's up to us to focus on the workout and lose weight, regardless of the gym we choose.

How far should I walk?
I've been exercising by simply walking around my neighborhood for the past 2 weeks, I can walk a mile in about 25 minutes. I basically take the same route everyday since we don't have a huge neighborhood, I searched out my route on GoogleMaps and it says the distance is 1.3 miles. It's a pretty good workout, I'm sweating and I do indeed feel the burn because our neighborhood has lots of hills! 3 days out of the week I also come home and immediately do some weight lifting with my 5 pound dumbbells, which really makes me sweat more. I wanna ask what actually is a good distance to walk per day to see results? I'm proud of myself for walking 1.3 miles, but is that enough or should I go for 2 miles?

If I were thin, I'd...
When I'm thin, I will:
-Actually allow people to tag me in photos on Facebook
-Not feel like all of my friends are prettier than me
-Probably be more flirty and have confidence with guys
-Wear a swimsuit and shorts at a themepark, lol I don't know why that's a fantasy of mine... I always remember going to themeparks and seeing girls walking around like, using their swimsuit as a "shirt" I guess and a pair of shorts; like this:
Girl in Shorts & Swimsuit
I always wanted to do that but I felt too fat because I won't wear pants with my top tucked in yet, lol.
-Wear my hair in it's natural state! I have extremely spiral curly hair and my natural hair looks short unless I straighten it. I feel my face is too fat to wear it short naturally, so.. I straighten it so it's long and frames my face.
