Intermittent Fasting with 14:10-16:8 methods
Gym 3x/week 2 mi on Elliptical, weight machines and leg press, and a Nintendo Switch with Ring Fit Adventure 1-2x/week.
I've struggled with weight gain since 2015. Late night drinking became a stress reliever and was 162 by 2016.
Started Noom in June of 2020 with an hour of walking on treadmill 5x/week and keeping track of calories. I lost nearly 20lbs by October that year. Stayed in maintenance mode through the Holidays at the end of the year and a while after the Noom sub ended that December. Fell sick a few times and weight crept back up over time.
Got back to a good gym in April 2023 and began an intermittent fasting journey in May. IF has improved a few health issues and having an eating window between a few hours after I wake-up and a few hours before bed has been the best. I've always struggled with eating first thing in the mornings and thought that I had an eating disorder. I've learned with IF that it's perfectly okay to skip breakfast and I feel much better waiting till lunch and not eating right before bed. Cut back majorly on alcohol.
I'm hoping to be at some decent numbers by this spring!
