My name is Jessica, I am 31 years old married and have a 1 1\2 year old little boy. I have struggled all my life with my weight. I am 5 10 and weigh 270 pounds. I consider myself active and big boned. My goal is to lose 100 pounds by 2012 and be in the best shape I have ever been in. I recently joined a local program to train people to be able to run called catch the wave. This program taught me that if I put my mind to it, anything is possible. I was able to run 4.37 miles in an hour and nine minutes. Since this race, I have continued running and was able to participate in a 5 k. I finished last, but the feeling that comes along with finishing is undescribable. If I can run 4.37 miles, by golly I am sure I can lose 100 pounds. Wish me luck!

Exercise
I work out at 5:30 in the am and by the time I get back from the gym and out of the shower, hair done and dressed the boys are just waking up and we are out the door by 7:30...That way you have the night time to enjoy with the family. Do you belong to a gym? If so, do they offer am classes? If not, I would invest in Jillian Michaels thirty day shred and Jackie Warner Circuit training. Jackie's dvd targets upper body, lower body, upper, lower and oblique abs...I love both dvds...Good luck!

Why do you want to lose weight?
1. To get rid of my "baby carriage"
2. to feel sexy
3. to be able to enjoy life without all this junk I have to carry around!
