I joined fatsecret in June 2021 because I want a way to be more consistent about exercising, more intentional about the calories I consume, and to connect with people who are working toward similar goals. I am currently doing a 16:8 low-carbohydrate Intermittent Fasting diet (1,200 - 1,500 daily caloric limit) and focusing on improving my lower body strength and cardiovascular health by walking, stretching, and using resistance bands. I started losing weight at 209 pounds in early 2021 and am slowly working toward a healthy BMI at 160 pounds.
