I am taking another long walk, on my active recovery day. I am walking 6 miles total today. I had a lovely 12.24 mile long run yesterday. I also walked over 1.75 miles, which equaled to over 14 miles for my daily total yesterday. I will be doing a short run tomorrow.
I increased my calories today, due to an increase in my appetite. Whenever I bring my long runs back into my movement life I inevitably have a bit of increase in my appetite.
My body became used to a very low weight and I have found it challenging to feel comfortable in my own skin. I have a low bmi and body weight for my height. I want to lose 7lbs to feel more comfortable in my body and more confident. I want to be healthy and have energy for all of my activities.
I feel saddened by any glorified state of imbalance, which I feel our culture has a tendency to do. I am only focused on the scale number as a way I have identified what feels right for me and what is healthy for my body. Health (not just physical, but as an entire person) is essential for longevity and a high quality of life.
I want to enjoy my weight loss process.
