Labs came back in from last weeks follow up on the Hashimoto’s disease; with the help of meds; thyroid level went from 5.4 to 2.5 in 7 weeks. Dr was pleased and I told her that it wasn’t just meds that helped drop the numbers; it was watching what I ate and portion control plus medication that caused the better number. So to all those that commented and supported me during that time; y’all are greatly appreciated.

Just asking a question; as we get healthier do any of you find that it’s getting harder to burn higher amounts of calories when you workout. I’ve asked my physician about it Friday last week; and was told by her as we get more fit our bodies tend to slow down on the calorie loss. Over the last week; I’ve done the same amounts of walking and movement and burned far less calories than I was before getting ill 4 months ago?

Well tonight I indulged in a large gluten free pizza with grilled chicken on it and a salad; I did however only drank water with dinner. Carbs is at 20%; fats at 33% and protein at 48%for the day. Proteins daily has been around 45% to 48% for several months. Really focusing on proteins now that I’m back to myself a little more; still the thyroid is under active; will see primary tomorrow morning. Been at 25mcg of thyroid meds; which might be too low. Will see tomorrow or sometime next week.

Saw primary care physician this morning; she decided to up my thyroid medication cause there has been no improvement with the dose I’m currently taking; did do bloodwork this morning as well. Can’t take the new dose of medication till labs come back next week. On a better note weight went down 3lbs more in 4 days.
