How I got here?

I am done with the overweight life-style (if you can call it that). I want to open up more options in life, and the weight just starts to define you. I want to know who I am without it.

My adult life has seen me bob between 150 (lowest, when 22 years old) to 307 (highest, 39 years old).

I settled into a range of 240 to 260 in the last decade, but that won't do!

Time to slim down and get out of the house more.

Is this pattern of eating IF?
Hi Team!

I have settled on a simple pattern of eating, and I think it might be considered IF. It was originally going to be EOD (Every Other Day) but I can't hack that consistently. So here it is:

Eat Typical Meals (low-ish carb, high protein, moderate fat) one day.

Eat 4 Protein Bars the next, spaced out when I am hard core craving food. Built Bar or KIND bar so far.

I hit about 11,000 steps with my dog each day, which comes to around 800 calories burned, since the bars on my light day come to less then 800 calories, I am at a net negative on calories added via eating.

Anyways, I can see where it could be IF or it could be just some weird wobbly diet I am following. What do you think?

BTW: Even though I am not sure what to call it, I am sure it works, I hit the scale each day after going light, and am losing a pound or three, depending. So it works and I will try to live like this, since I enjoy the days of freedom to eat what I choose, where I struggle to go KETO or low cal 100%.
