Happy Valentines Day All! Had a good day my sweet hubby sent me roses at work & instead of all the chocolate goodies he sent me skinny dipped almonds! They are only 150 calories for 15 almonds & were dark chocolate raspberry flavored they were delicious & didn’t wreck my eating plan for the day! I was able to handle a big family birthday dinner at my hubby’s family Italian restaurant & ordered a salad with a side of Bolognese sauce! I put the sauce on my salad instead of dressing & it was like a hot meatball sandwich minus the bread! Felt good about avoiding all the sugar (wine & DQ ice cream cake,) and white flour (pasta& bread,) & didn’t feel deprived! Kinda stressed ahead over the day but made it through & it was not as bad as I thought!
Many more hurdles to come but taking it one day at a time!👍🏻
