My husband, son, and I went for a walk last night around the lake. I am planning to go again tonight. If I continue to lose at the rate I'm going, I'll have lost more that 10 pounds in a week...yay!!!

Sleep really does make a difference. My slip up yesterday was one weak vodka cranberry and only 5 hours of sleep. I have to work this morning, so I have all my foods portioned and packed for the day. Hopefully, a nap this afternoon and a good night of sleep tonight will get me back on track.

I'm feeling so good today. I went for an hour walk around a nearby lake this morning. It was hot and humid, but I made it. Went and bought a few groceries. I was so excited that our food co-op finally has ranier cherries. I have been waiting for them! I'm noticing that I'm craving junk food less than I used to. It also amazes me that 4 ounces of chicken breast and a cup or so of roasted veggies is actually enough to make me feel full. Ok, maybe full isn't the right word, but I don't feel like I need to eat more. I used to eat twice that with no problem. My hubby is also ready to jump on board. He likes that we're eating more vegetables, and wants to start this diet as soon as we have the money...which should be at least by the end of this month.

I know they say you shouldn't weigh yourself every day, but I can't help it. I want to weigh myself every morning because I'm excited to see that I am actually losing weight every day.
