I had hoped I would be better at this diet... but it's being harder than I'd originally imagined.
Got a salad at outback, salad, yeah, salad is good for you.
My salad had more bad stuff and more calories than my damned steak did!
and if you give me a hot-dog on a bun, I can't help but have a little nibble of the bread...
I have absolutely no self-control. which is so not awesome, and is completely hurting my ego.

Well having read the literature, today is my first real day on the program, I couldn't have picked a better week actually. I flew out from my home in SC, to Fort Walton Beach in Florida to stay with a friend for the week, since I don't have a car I have to ride his bike everywhere while he's at work.
I'm actually really enjoying it, I thought it would hurt my leg but it's not that bad. My ortho says exercising it will help keep it strong anyway. I might get a bike when I get home, even though Columbia is very hilly, so it would be much more difficult. As for today I'm having a relaxing day. This isn't going to be so bad, I can totally live like this.

Well, after gaining ALL of my weight back plus some after having been off Atkins for only two weeks (I had a concussion and was advised to eat normally while I rested), I've decided I just can't deal with a plan that provides just short term results. My cousins, both of whom are pharmacists and in great shape recommended I try the South Beach diet. Today I'll be hitting my local B&N to get the recommended reading material today.
