There is not much change in my weight. I am proud, not discouraged. I am having major surgery on the 29th with a recovery of 4-6 weeks. At this time all I want to do is maintain my weight. I will be returning to my workouts after my recovery.
I have been doing cardiovascular exercise of swimming, walking, and bicycling. Also, I have been eating mainly mediterranean salads with a lot of protein (chicken, eggs, and meat slices).

Hi Everybody and sorry for not writing lately. Last week was difficult for me as my daughter and I were struck in the rear by a Direct TV truck. We were at a stop sign not moving and WHAM! She's doing pretty good but my knees are messed up! Not to say how this is messing my workouts and exercising up! I was doing SO good and enjoying myself. I am being sent to ortho surgeon. I am taking pain pills that don't really kill the pain. What a mess! I was enroute to Tacoma (45 minute trip)to see neuro surgeon for back pain when this happened! I'm still in shock. I'm so glad for all that are doing good. This is making me feel good.

Swam 5 laps this morning. I'm getting eady to return to gym for wallking and chaine exercise.

Good Morning to All! It has been a great weekend.Joined the Y and started working out.Looking forward to a new me. This will take lots of work. I walked 1.53 miles in one hour! I was proud of myself. My trainer said that I did I get a great. I signed up for 12 week workout..I'm On My Way.

Proud of myself in staying in with my new life eating and joing the YMCA. I am cleaning out cabinets of canned foods. Getting fresh veggies and fruits. I realize that this is a new lifestyle, not a diet.
