Tough 2 days. Been in bed with upset stomach and all that goes with that. Eating yogurt, crackers, bananas.
Heard NPR's On Point today. Interviewed A woman who wrote a book called The Secret Life of Fat. It sounded super interesting so I ordered from Amazon. Hope I am back to normal tomorrow. This is not fun.

New year, new scale. Got an auto calibrating, extra large lighted scale that goes 1 decimal point. Oh yes, I've gone high-tech 😊
Not ready to step on - going to wait until Tuesday and Friday... my regular weigh days. Ticks me off how tied my mood is to that stinking number.
🏃♀️Walked a new 3.1 mile path today.
No jogging. Damn shin splints. But now I have an official 5K route to use and measure myself with.

OMG! I cannot believe I lost another pound - it's the 2nd one! Wooohooo!
Finally!!! And, it's not been the best week, really... with the thumbprint cookies, the chocolate dipped peanut butter cookies, the currant squares, the au gratin potatoes!
And, to be brutally honest - I haven't worked out but once in 7 days.
I know, I know. Didn't even walk the dog. Pathetic, I know. BUT, I have my 2 water fitness classes tonight, a few more TH and FR ... and I'll be back on track!
I just cannot believe it. It can happen! Yay!!!! :-)

Finally broke the 180's. And in Christmas day no less! Man oh man!!!! Merry Christmas to me!!!
FOOD: I've been so good the past 2 weeks (since I re-started here). Maybe not eating the most perfect stuff, but watching, staying at/below intake RDIs, and working in it.
Now, I'm focusing on swapping in veggies /fruits instead of carbs.
MOVEMENT: And I've been pretty good with working out. Been doing 1-HR Tabata 2/wk (high intensity interval water aerobics), deep water workouts, a slow/deep yoga class that leaves ya feeling just awesomely stretched out but I think it's also doing a bit of toning. I love those 3 things. Took a Pilates mat class that kicked my butt big time. I sincerely bow to all you Pilates People!'
Now, I need to add my Couch25K workouts 3/wk faithfully to that.
ATTITUDE: Thinking about and working in the above 2 help me with trying to keep my attitude in a positive place. That, AND the MY BUDDIES / COMMUNITY interactions of FS.
All in all, I'm pleased and feel I know where to focus efforts this and next week.
All in all, I feel hopeful that I'll be able to make a dent in my mission. :-)

Same. Wow. Well, at least it didn't go up. My goal this next 7 days is to eat more veggies and fruits and go to the guy at least 3.
