I did better today calorie wise. I had potatoes at dinner, but I LOVE them. I'm just not sure it is something I can give up, but I did only have half a serving. If I can at least lower the sheer AMOUNT I eat it should be better. Sigh. I look in the mirror and want to be thin NOW. ^_^ At least I know I am on the right path.

This thing is all messed up. I was 234 lbs three weeks ago, this Sunday I was 237 lbs, and today I am 235 lbs, so I LOST 2 lbs since I started the diet, but its not going to show up in the computer and that makes me mad. sigh

I am not feeling as hungry as I was Monday, but my calorie intake has also come closer to my summer norm and I'm having a hard time lowering my carb intake. I still think I'm doing better than pre-diet, but its not good enough yet.

I noticed something yesterday that solves a mystery for me. Every year when school starts I am exhausted and HUNGRY all week. I noticed when I put in my food for Monday that I was eating 1,000 calories LESS automatically. I don't have as much time to eat so I eat less. It makes sense, but I never thought about how that would affect my energy levels. Go figure.
It's day three of my diet and I am already running into serious problems. I didn't make it to the grocery store this weekend and I ran out of food yesterday. So breakfast, lunch and dinner are all going to be restaurant food. Breakfast was ok, I managed to get tacos which have a lot of protien and less carbs than a biscuit or something. Lunch I grabbed at Luby's, which was expensive but not bad diet wise. Dinner however is a problem. I have to leave school early to get to my grad class so someone is going to watch my room. She can't be there the whole period and I wont have time to go get something to eat at Luby's or someplace slow. I'll either get dinner from a vending machine or fast food. I can't think of anything that would be really good on my diet. I know South Beach doesn't count calories, but I can't help feeling like I am eating too many carbs, so maybe a little calories counting will help, but fast food is not low calorie... Someone suggest a cheese burger, no fries, no coke, and only eat half the bun. I might do that.
