Hello my FS friends. I hope everyone is doing well and having a great day so far. I haven't been here often, I've been busy with graduations, parties and family time. I haven't been good at logging but I am going to try to get back to it. It helps so much. I have plateaued and am please with that. I have been focusing more on my recent health issues but still cognizant of my WOE.
We are dealing with the haze and smoke from the fires in Canada. I received a message from my doctor advising I stay inside for the next few days. It is really bad today and I will take his recommendation. There is also a distinct odor. Yes, something burning but not wood. It has a hint of burning garbage. My husband and youngest son were working on something outside last night and they both came in the house with an odor. It seems there is always a haze, sometimes very thick depending on where you are. Yesterday, driving to the store, the lines on the roads were difficult to see. I feel so bad for the Canadian population. If we in WI are dealing with this, what are they going through? My thoughts and prayers are with them. And the loss of timber....it is so sad.
Anyhow, I just wanted to stop in and say hi. I hope everyone has an amazing and healthy day.

Just a little down but I will take it even though I think it could be water weight.
I have to get an electrical cardioversion tomorrow. I have read a great deal about it and have spoken with a few people that have had it done and it seems like a pretty easy procedure. Having said that, telling someone that your heart will be shocked allows for a "yikes" to emit from your throat. But, since I have been in the hospital 9 days in the last month (two visits) with my AFIB issues, I am very hopeful that the procedure will stabilize my heart rate and keep me from spiking so much. A resting heart rate should not be in the 120's as mine has been.
I'm just a little nervous but also optimistic that with God's guidance this may be the answer, if only temporarily.
