Day 9

Yeeeooow.... Worked my arms today. Triceps, Biceps and forearm whatever-ceps. For the rest of the day everything I did seemed like it took huge effort, effort I didn't have. LOL

Pete finally asked me, "So WTF is going on with you?"

LMAO.... I told you I wouldn't be able to keep it quiet too long. Only lasted 9 days. So, I shared with him a lil' bit of what I'm doing. And made him practically take a blood oath that he wouldn't go telling all the Club people or ANYONE that I'm trying to loose weight. That'll be hard for him, he's a big gossiper! And they say women gossip... HA! He's the Information Officer (honestly a real title and office with the USMVMC) but I affectionately (jokingly) call him "The Gossip Officer". He's the Town Crier! The biggest clucker in the hen house! Always gotta squawk when someone lays an egg! He rides down to our corner biker bar every afternoon to visit his buddies and they sit around and gossip like a bunch of Jr High girls. The last thing I want is for people coming up to me and telling me, "Ya look good, keep up the good job. Blah Blah Blah" only because he's told them. I want all comments to be real and genuine and deserved because my results are showing. Not because he's blabbed his mouth to fish out some compliments for me.

Day 7

For my first weigh in.... I've lost 4 pounds! Woooo whooo! Oh yeaaaa Baby! I am very proud of myself.

I must confess, I sneaked a peak at the scale a couple days ago and had lost 3 pounds and yesterday it was 6 pounds. But tonight, on the official weigh in it's 4 pounds. And I think that's great for the first week. I vow to NOT look this next week. LOL

Today was awesome! "Hit the garage" with 30 minutes on the treadmill and 30 minutes on the Bowflex. Oh yeah.... I'm feelin' the burn! LOL It feels wonderful to have completed my weekly goals and accomplished my daily goals. And to see the number on the scale was the icing on the cake.

Mary Ann.... I love you for showing me this site! It's been the best motivator I have ever had. THANK YOU!!


Week 2 Goals

To keep up what I have been doing. Try to incorporate more Protein, Fruits & Veggies into my menu. To walk on the treadmill for a minimum of 30 minutes 3 days. Workout on the Bowflex or with weights at least twice this week.

Tomorrow's Goal

Since I had a great workout today .... I will take tomorrow off :o)
Weigh-in: 246.0 lb lost so far: 4.0 lb still to go: 106.0 lb Diet followed reasonably well

Day 6

Today is my son's 16th Birthday. Boo-Hoo my baby is growing up! He's my only son and he is the baby of the family. Being 10 & 8 years younger than his sisters. He's more like a single child with three Moms. All the family met at the new Chinese Buffet that just opened up. OMGosh good food! It's hard to tell how many calories or how to enter it, but I did my best and I didn't over eat. Honestly I think under ate and over documented, but I did my best. Brought my left overs home and had them for dinner. Tonight it's just Pete and I. Dinner is done. Dishes are done. All my daily evening chores are done and I'm looking forward to hitting the pillow early. Fact is I'm sitting up in bed now with my laptop. (I love how I can do this with my laptop)

With all the running around I had to do today I failed to hit the treadmill. I was hesitant to even put it as a goal, knowing how much I had to do today, so I'm not upset with myself. But I have to do it tomorrow! My first weeks goal was to workout three days and so I have to hit the gym, (hahaha.... actually it's garage because all the workout stuff is in our garage.) so I have to hit the garage tomorrow!


Tomorrow's Goal

Walk on the treadmill (bear minimum!)
