Day 38
Caught myself slipping back into the old pattern of NOT EATING & NOT WORKING OUT! Arrrrgh! Thanks for this website where I can see what I have or have not eaten and the journaling allows me to be honest with myself. Therefore I am not going for long periods of of neglect and I'm able to correct things earlier.
So.... I have to hold myself accountable to get back to my motto of: EAT ~ MOVE ~ WATER ~ FRESH AIR & SUNSHINE!
This aggravates me. I was doing so good, but when I stepped on the scale and saw that I hadn't lost any weight.... BOOM! I shut my mouth and went to bed. I know I have to eat to loose. I know what to do, but subconsciously I start to rebel back into my old ways.
And because it's late and I have to get to sleep, I'm not even going to go into the rant on how I have not been working out. Let me just say that I've made my confession, I've F'd up the past couple days and starting tomorrow I have to get my ass back into the workout pants and sweat! Damn I despise sweat! I try to picture every drop as fat melting. Still, I don't think I'll ever like sweat. Ugh! LOL
Note: Even though I have had a hysterectomy and don't have a period, I do have my ovaries and if I were to have a period.... it would be about to hit any time. I hoping that is partly why the scale is being so cruel and I'm so moody. HAHAHA

Day 34
WoW.... what a wonderful weekend! The weather was absolutely perfect with sunny, gorgeous blue sky and a cool crisp breeze. It was 65°F during the day, with 38°F degrees expected tonight and only 60% humidity!!! A heavenly Florida Autumn day!
Had a great workout this evening. The best since I had the
"Whatever The Heck It Was"
BUG for the past 10 days. I walked for 55 minutes at different speeds (15 of those minutes up hill) and Bicep Curls & Tricep Lifts w/12 pounds.
Weekly Goal
Walk 4 days
Bowflex 3 days
I need to starting working the Abs harder this week.

Day 33
When I started this new lifestyle eating too little was my issue. I am not an Over-Eater. I'm what I call a Fat Anorexic. Not getting enough calories and my body was in "Storage Mode" (I also have been on long term Prednisone therapy which caused some of my weight gain, but that's another chapter.) These past 30+ days I have been retraining my brain, stomach and mouth to eat. And to eat well! Good foods. Making sure to consume my minimum calories and aim for my RDI. (1100 - 2100) And adding exercise into my life to burn those calories. So far it's working. I'm eating more and loosing! What a concept! LOL
Today I realized that I have accomplished eating and getting hungry! I had a full busy day and my stomach started to gnaw at me when I was skipping lunch. WOW.... what a sensation I have denied myself for a long time. I need to learn to plan ahead and keep snacks on hand to curb that gnawing of hunger. Thank goodness for my new found fav.... Chobani GREEK Yogurt to the rescue! Yumm! Was all I had time to shovel into my mouth on the run. Kept me until I could actually eat a meal.
I am so thankful for everyone's support and comments. This site is so helpful and for the first time in a very long time.... I am actually taking care of ME! :o)

Day 32
I must talk about YOGURT! Ok.... I have always enjoyed yogurt. I usually eat it every morning with breakfast. Lately I've notice people adding Greek yogurt to their food list. So I bought some Chobani Greek Yogurt and had it as a snack. OMG.... I don't think I can go back to my store brand fat free light yogurt. This Greek yogurt is thick, filling, creamy (even though it's fat free) has twice the amount of protein and only a 40 more calories. Wholy Chamoly!! It's my new fav! It cost a bit more, but I think it's worth it. Hmmmm.... maybe it'll be cheaper if I find it at Sam's Club? Just had to share! If you like yogurt.... ya have to try Greek Yogurt! Mmmmmmm.... it's worth the extra calorie!

Day 31
I had a wonderful unexpected compliment from my son-in-law today. He said, "I can tell you have lost weight." I was shocked! For one, Tommie is a very laid back southern kinda guy. But mostly because I didn't think it's showing much yet. Made my day!!
Tomorrow's Goals
To get back out in that garage and walk-on!
