Low Calorie Diets VS Low Carb Diets
Hi All! Maybe someone can shed some light on this for me. Long story short, I lost 20lbs and now put 8 back on. Going away in May and want to be back to were I was. I do work out about 2 times a week. I was working out 3 but stopped due to a back injury. Besides working out I eat quite a low calorie diet. About 1200-1300 cal a day. 2 DD coffees, a breakfast bar, frozen low cal lunch and a sensible dinner. At 5'3" and 140lbs I "should" be loosing weight on this calorie intake, but I am not. I do have a fairly large intake of carbs with my meals from the calculations. Is this causing the problem? Do I need to go to an 800 cal meal "plan"? I am thinking of going on a crash diet to jump start my weight loss again. I don't do diets well so whatever it is, it has to work. Has anyone had better luck with low calorie diets vs low carb diets? Any suggestions? I am lazy so the simpler the better. PS there is no way I can cut out the DD coffee. That is my boon and I refuse to give it up
