I am a Florida Native, 27 Years old. I have been overweight since I was in elementary school. I grew up eating foods that my mom could afford, which were mostly processed and filled with sugars. I never broke free of these foods until I decided to start eating clean with my girlfriend of 9 years. We started 09/20/2015 and have made so much progress mentally and physically. I am currently sharing our story through YouTube and wanted to join this community to achieve our long term goals and find support within like minded individuals. Clean Eating
Good morning Dialla, I also just started Clean Eating and so far I love it. That is not to say the first two weeks were not hard. We were heavily addicted to only processed (restaurant) food and regularly ate at McDonalds several times a week. Therefore, our food addiction ran deep, which was not easy to break free from. However, somehow we made it to week 5 of clean eating and I also am feeling much lighter, clearer minded, and excited for the future. How to deal with judgement (Fat Shaming), anxiety, & fears associated with exercising from an ob
Hey Ya’ll, I made a video to try and shed some light on some of the social (deeply rooted) aspects of losing weight from a fat person's perspective. I struggle daily with multiple anxieties that came with my individual weight gain, even when I don’t always show it! Unfortunately, we live in a very judgmental society today, and it encourages us to search for flaws within ourselves and others. The only way to overcome this issue is through perseverance and support. We are all trying to reach the same goal: to live a healthy and happy life. Therefore, we all need to encourage one another and uplift those we see trying their hardest to lose weight on sidewalks, at the gym, and so forth. Stop negativity!
