Today was a blah day. When I started my weightloss program I hit it full force. I had no problem exercisng 5 days a week, two hours a day, sometimes more. I was addicted. Then I realized I was doing too much, cause I exercised 12 days straight. So I started back t just the five days a week. I still do a couple hours a day. I try to do at least 60 minutes of cardio, but some days it's more like 35 (with cool down). I do about an hour of weight lifting, nothing real heavy. Just starting out, working my way up to 100 pounds on each machine. So far, so good.

But then today.....I felt blah. I really had no interest in working out. I wasn't in the mood for it. I had too much to do at home, had to grocery shop. Run packages to the post office to send to my two nephews in the army (they are deployed in Afghanistan)and then hit the gym. By the time I got to the gym I felt like I had already worked out. But I decided it was better to go and do some then not go at all, because then next time it just makes it easier to not go. So I went in and did 40 minutes on the elliptical (with cool down) and about 20 minutes or so of weight lifting. I am disapointed that I didn't do more. But it really was all I had the energy to do. But I think I know the problem. I didn't eat breakfast. Ok so that can't be the whole problem. But I have been faithful every morning of eating breakfast. This morning I slept in because I didn't get to bed till about 2 or so. By the time I got up and was functioning it was time to leave. Ate lunch late too. So I don't know.

Tomorrow is a better day. I have tons of work to do here at the house, moving two rooms around. But I will still go to gym,.


On the upside of things. I am definetly seeing a change. Loss of weight, more muscles in places I didn't know I could have them. And really feeling and seeing a change in my arms. I am shooting for a 30 pound loss by my birthday. July 2. So we'll see how it goes. I know some would say it's a small goal, others say that's too much weight in that short of time. But it's a goal I feel comfortable with. If I lose more, then so be it. But I would be happy with 30 pounds by then, specially if I continue to tone up as I am.
