Well, since moving to phase 2, the weight is not really coming off. But then again, I had a bad couple of days last weekend and it took all last week to correct that. So, as of yesterday I have been strictly following phase 2 and watching and counting everything I am eating...and drinking more water and of course back to doing my Zumba.

I have 9 weeks till Florida and I would like to be at 220 when I go... but sometimes, it just doesn't seem so easy! I have decided that once I hit 220, I am going to start training for a 5k race... I really want to tackle running and actually making it to the end! I don't need to come in first... I am happy coming in dead last... just making it to the end will be the biggest accomplishment for me.

I keep trying to envision myself skinny and I am seriously having a hard time... the last picture I have weighing my goal of 150 was when I was 15... that was 20 years ago!!! But I am glad because I am at my lowest weight in a year...

I am rambling a lot lately... I feel like I have so much that I need to share, but no one to really share it with... Joe doesn't want to hear about it that much and he all says is that he wants me to get skinny... which is a good change from him trying to sabotage my diet out of fear of losing me! I wish there was like a support system around me... I feel like the only person I can count on is myself and I don't like that...

I have definitely found a new love for salad... I have been putting all kinds of stuff in it.. and it the taste really has grown on me... I do have to say that with all my healthy eating, the cravings for the junk food has pretty much worn off.. I don't even miss my morning ritualistic bagel with cream cheese that I have had daily for the past 5-6 years and I thought that was going to be tough to walk away from! I have also been trying some of the south beach recipes and one of my favorite its mini vegetable quiche... made with egg substitute.. which to be completely honest, i was nervous to try.. I thought that it would taste awful, but it really isn't so bad! I am considering starting to eat fish again... but I will need my mom to make it for me... I hate the way Joe makes it and well, I can't cook fish if my life depended on it!

Well, now that I am feeling 100% better I can start exercising again. I have been so achy this week between being sick and not being able to take my arthritis medicine when I am sick. It really sucks..my medications are immune suppressants, so taking them when I am sick only makes it harder and longer for my body to fight off the infection. And not being able to take them really impacted me this week, more than I thought that it would.

But, tomorrow I am going to start taking them again, so I should get less achy just in time for the foot of snow they are predicting for Sunday-Monday... I am so sick of snow this season! I like snow, but just not this much..I can't handle all of it.

I have 9 1/2 weeks till Florida.. so I really gotta get moving on my diet/exercise program. I am so looking forward to going...my aunt has already scheduled manis, pedis, facials and massages for us... it is going to be like heaven... I have not been able to really relax since.. well since I became a mom... that was almost 12 year ago!!

I have decided to start putting myself first. I cannot keep leaving myself behind for everyone else.. at some point, I need to feel good about myself and the only way to get there is to take care of myself!

Dietwise this week has been a little off... haven't had much of an appetite,... but I did get myself that Shamrock shake from McDonalds.... I figured better get it out of my system now while I am off the wagon this week, rather than waiting till I am being all strict... like today, my lunch was 2 tbsp on all natural peanut butter and a cheese stick... i just wasn't hungry, but I knew I had to eat something.... those South Beach Diet snack bars do come in handy... I have had them a few times for snacks and they actually taste pretty good.
