My third day on fatsecret and I totally blew past my calorie limit. Not only that, but my macros looked awful. Check it: 39% carbs, 48% fat, 13% protein. I'm looking back at what I've eaten the last couple of days to figure out what my biggest offenders are. (The truffles are looking pretty guilty right now.) I need to determine if there are healthier alternatives to the unhealthy things I'm eating. I really need to get these macros back where they should be.

Clearly my scale is unreliable. I'll continue to record the weight it displays, but a more reliable method, I think, is how my clothes fit. I have some smaller jeans that I've never worn. I'll count on that to determine whether I am losing weight.

37% Carbs, 43% Fat, 20% Protein. Today, I ate as I normally would, to establish a baseline. It's not pretty. I'm staring 3 Lindor Truffles in the eye. I am so going to eat them!

Wow. Blowing it already. I ate a small sugar cookie. I will still stay within the calories limit, so it's not a problem. It's more of a commitment issue. But no worries. It's way too early in the game to declare defeat.
