I think this may be fluid loss but still trying to stay accountable with each day. Tomorrow it may be back up but pleased to see any difference on the scale...

Dieting can be very hard for people who have medical issues. I have angina and have to take a pill every day that causes fluid retention. I have kidney disease and have been on a diuretic for years so this doesn't help all that much. Add in that I am being treated for high blood pressure and high cholesterol, and several herniated discs and it makes it very hard to figure out what to do. I also have a husband who is diabetic and he is struggling with weight issues and keeping his sugar under control. Thus I do most all my own cooking. This site will help because I can input recipes and then know more what to add as a calorie count. I am not trying to get back to my 110 lb self, just want to be carrying a lot less weight on this already struggling back. Doing a food journal is the only way I have ever successfully lost weight, so I am here, trying hard to set a limit on my caloric intake of 1400 calories. I'm sure there will be days I go over that and days I don't get the exercise I need, but I am trying to hold myself accountable. I do believe I can do all things with God's help.
