I am 65 and retired from the NHS in November 2014. I am married with 2 grown up daughters and 1 granddaughter.
I have dieted many many times before and actually reached 130 lbs in 2012 (whilst on FS) but fell back into old ways and the weight crept back on. I decided at the end of July 2016 to start again (having gained a total of 2 stone), and somehow managed to get to 118 lbs by April 2017.
However a succession of holidays has had me falling off the wagon again, to where I am now at 146 lbs in May 2018 (gaining 2 stone again). Methinks a pattern is emerging.
May 2018: I am now starting again, aiming for 9 stone or thereabouts. At 118 lbs (albeit for a very short period!) I felt great but it was almost certainly unsustainable for me.
Wonder where this next journey will take me?
UPDATE: February 2024 age 71 and currently 149 lbs :(
Clearly I spend most of my life on/off dieting. I have been on FS for at least 12 years but am still here, and trying yet again !
